The villas
are designed to provide the maximum amount of views with open architecture bringing the outdoor and indoor living areas seamlessly together. With wide covered outdoor decks to each bedroom and living spaces. All have a living room, dining area with fireplace, bathroom, dressing room and Jacuzzi. Some have king-size beds and others two queens. A sofa bed is also available; room size - 85 m2 - 914 sq ft.

Verandas
Each has a spacious double bedroom with either a king-size bed or two queens, en suite
bathroom and indoor Jacuzzi, front porch with hammock and a small tropical garden.
Room size - 38 m2.- 408 sq ft.

The Royal Palm has a total of 21 Casitas and Villas offering a choice of very spacious accommodation which includes:

2 Highland Family Villas (each with 1 four-poster king bedroom & 1 twin-queen bedroom)

The residences complement their natural surroundings and are designed for your comfort and relaxation. The Villas sit individually within the grounds while the Casitas are located on the Royal Fountain Circle, with verandas overlooking the Royal Palm estate. All the rooms are well appointed with custom-made furnishings and floors of mahogany wood with super-comfortable beds and the finest linens. Our rooms have everything you would expect a property of this distinction to offer including free Wi-Fi, desk, LCD flat screen TVs with 15 satellite channels, minibar, tea & coffee making facilities, safe, air-conditioning, iron and board, hairdryer and the Villas all have a private Jacuzzi room.

Child Policy
Babies and children up to the age of 11years and 11 months are welcome to share the parents’ accommodation. Some of our Highland Villas have two queen beds and the Family Highland Villas have 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin queen beds. Extra cots and beds are available in all Villas but not the Casitas.

Casitas
Our terraced Casitas are in two rows of four and are located closer to the hotel’s amenities than the Villas. Each Casita has a spacious bedroom with either a king size bed or two queens, dining area, en-suite bathroom, indoor Jacuzzi or wet room and a front porch looking onto the gardens. There are eight Casitas; four have one king bed and four have twin-queens. Two sets of two Casitas interconnect i.e. two pairs comprising one king and one twin-queen, perfect for families! Extra cots and beds are available in our Highland Villas but not in the Casitas.

Highland Villas
Each of our eight Highland Villas has a bedroom, a large bathroom, a separate Jacuzzi room and a living/dining room. They all feature open fireplaces and enjoy views out across the estate from the large windows. There is a choice of villas with either king beds or 2 queen beds.
Size – 85m² / 914 sq. ft. Double / King Villas can accommodate up to 2 guests. Double / Queen Villas can accommodate up to 4 guests.

Presidential Villa
The Presidential Villa is an open-plan secluded suite with its own private garden and outdoor Jacuzzi. The bedroom area is spacious with a king size four-poster bed and dressing area leading down to the living and dining area with large open fireplace.
Size – 60m² / 645 sq. ft. Can accommodate up to 2 guests.

Royal Villa
The Royal Villa is open plan and benefits from an indoor sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi in its own private garden. The bedroom has a king size, four-poster bed and a dressing area which leads down to a large living room and dining area with open fireplace.
Size – 78m² / 839 sq. ft. Can accommodate up to 2 guests.

Prince of Wales Villa
The largest Suite at the Royal Palm is named in honour of His Royal Highness - The Prince of Wales who stayed here with HRH The Duchess of Cornwall.
This deluxe private villa has two spacious en-suite bedrooms plus dressing areas – one with a king size bed and the other with two queen size beds. The master bedroom has its own sauna; both bedrooms have a private garden area. The living/dining room which is central to the Prince of Wales Villa features an open fireplace, comfortable seating, dining area and a desk.
Size – 90 m² / 968 sq. ft. Can accommodate up to 4 guests.

Restaurant & Bar
A beautiful space for our guests to wine and dine with spectacular views across the estate and out to the sea, on a clear day. The Royal Palm Restaurant and Bar combines elegant colonial style and traditional island design. The warm mahogany furniture reflects the glow of the open fire and on warmer nights, why not dine alfresco on our terrace under the equatorial stars. And don’t miss the chance to enjoy a sundowner cocktail made by our award-winning barman Kenneth Chalen!

BREAKFAST
In order to maintain the quality and freshness of our breakfasts, please note that when the hotel is less busy, breakfast is a la carte. When the hotel is busy, we serve a buffet breakfast. The only difference is that a la carte is ordered and served to the table; the buffet is laid out for self-service. The breakfast menu has the same choice a la carte and buffet.

Meetings and events
The Board Room & The Madejski Room
The Business Center is located near reception. Our Board Room can seat up to 8 delegates, boardroom style. The Madejski Room can accommodate up to 30 delegates theater style. Both rooms have natural daylight and are available to residents and non-residents. Facilities include wi-fi and use of printers and photocopiers. Meetings are fully catered.

Sport & Fitness
In addition to our outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, the Royal Palm has a small gym, indoor table tennis and two hard-surface tennis courts; rackets and balls are available from reception.
For the more adventurous, there is a lava tunnel on the Estate just waiting to be explored. Basic tours are starting from $5 including hard hats and flashlights; guided tours are $25, bookable in advance or at reception; or simply enjoy our free nature trails around the estate. If you want to go further afield, you can go horse riding or enjoy scenic hiking treks, jogging paths and off-road cycling routes. Just off the coast, you will find some of the world’s most spectacular diving and snorkeling. Kayaking and surfing is also available on several beach locations.

Yacht Charters
The best way to see the Galapagos Islands is from one of our chartered yachts. With the help of an expert guide at the helm, you can explore the diversity of these natural waters with their unique array of endemic species which thrive in this isolated and timeless archipelago; home to albatrosses, penguins, boobie-birds, turtles, giant tortoises, iguanas, sea lions, whales and dolphins and many other interesting species. From the yacht you can also go snorkeling and appreciate the wonder of nature beneath the waves.
Yacht trips are included in all our packages, but can also be chartered privately as part of a bespoke itinerary for your exclusive enjoyment. In our packages, the destinations of our yachts is pre-determined and will depend upon the day of your excursion - all cruises and boat trips are strictly regulated by the Galapagos National Park to ensure the protection of these precious islands.

The Galápagos Islands sit astride the equator in the Pacific Ocean, 600 miles / 926 km west of their sovereign country, the Republic of Ecuador in South America. These tiny islands are actually the tips of ancient volcanoes (many of which are still active) and consist of 13 large islands and 6 smaller ones plus 42 islets; the total land surface is 8,000 km². The principal language on the islands is Spanish and the islands have a population of just over 25,000. The capital is Puerto Baquerizo Moreno on the Island of San Cristóbal although Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz has a larger population. The Galápagos Islands is one of the few places in the world without an indigenous population. It has a mixed cultural heritage with two main descendant groups: the Ecuadorian Mestizos, descendants of Spanish Colonists and indigenous Native Americans and the European Spanish Colonists; some descendants of the early settlers still live on the islands today.

Our Menu is an ever changing selection of classic to fusion, with a focus on local seafood. In time we lean towards Asian-Ecuadorian, fusion and Latin tapas which is the unstoppable food trend currently and sees no end in the near future. It all encompasses freshness and eating a variety of flavors in one sitting...
